How heavy should my slam ball be?

You should be able to feel some resistance in your movements, but your range of motion shouldn’t be too restricted. If performing slams, you’ll need to be able to lift the ball above your head. If you’re just starting out, a lighter weight of 10-20lbs is recommended. A lighter weight can also help you move faster and improve accuracy with new movements. Heavier weights are effective for building strength.
